AN OVERVIEW OF THE WAR
North vs. South
The Civil War was a lengthy conflict, fought in the United States from 1861-1865. It saw a remarkable president in Abraham Lincoln and outstanding war minds like Ulysses S. Grant, Stonewall Jackson, and Robert E. Lee. But most importantly, the war's developments in medicinal techniques and tools, and the precedents it set on U.S Medical Care really shaped its living legacy in the U.S today.

Clara Barton
“They want food, clothing, shelter, medicines, and a few calm people to administer them.”
